May Haul. (Singapore haul 2)

So this month I spent quite alot again T.T When it's the sale season I tend to spend more! Anyways once again it's all skincare products from korean brands! So excited to use them! ^^ Since college started I've been trying to look my best!

On the 1st of may Etude house and The Face Shop were having a sale but Etude house was so packed I didn't get anything but I got some nail polishes from The Face Shop! I also went to it's skin and picked up one of their 10 series serum!

Also on the day I went out with my friend YiChing, the Holika Holika sales assistant told me they were going to discontinue the Honey Sleeping Pack and it was going off at half price! So I got 1 more to keep. Etude house mask were on offer at 5 for RM15 so I picked up 5 since I've never tried their mask before!

My new watch! This is my first branded watch ever! Super happy about it hehehe. It's the Baby-G watches that snsd is promoting and if I'm not wrong this is the one Taeyon is promoting!

The Face Shop

They were having a store wide 10% off and I spent so much they gave me a membership ._.
-CC cream in Natural Beige. My first CC cream! Hope it lives up to my expectation!
-Chia Seed Watery Spot Essence. I hope it fades my acne scars and the fine lines under my eyes!
-Real Nature Mask Sheet Bundle Set. It comes in a set of 10! Aloe Vera, Mung Bean, Kelp and    Cucumber
-A free Roots sleeping pack and Aloe Vera mask!

Etude House

The first trip to the store I got went ahead and got the
-Shini Star Clear BB lotion. Heard some good reviews about this also heard this is discontinued ):
If I tried and like it I might stock up on some!
-Shini Star Clear Pack in Lavender. Bought this to go with the bb lotion.
-Eyeliner brush, because my sister stole mine.
The free sample they gave me were the Baking Powder Cleansing Foam and The Magic Bubble mask. Also because I spent over a certain amount they gave me the cute Ice cream loofa!
The next day I went back again and picked up the
-Baking Powder Cleansing Foam Moist. This is the one for dry skin! I ran out of my face wash.
-2 Kissful Tint Chou in the new packaging. It was on discount :3
The saleslady gave me a silk scarf shampoo sample and also the post it notes. I asked for the Shinee pins hehehe.

Typo

The last stop was Typo! I got the notebooks at 3 for $10 and the pensat 5 for $5.

So this was my May Haul. I spent alot this month too T.T Well hope my skin clears up!

Singapore again.

I went to Singapore again this month to visit my nephew and my sister. Since it was a long weekend my brother drove my dad and me down to Singapore.

We started our journey on thursday night so we reached her house at 12pm. My brother says he drives better at night. Weird I know. So we reached Singapore and my mom and brother in law was waiting for our arrival. We went to bed soon after since it was late already.

Friday morning we started our day early since my darling nephew wakes up early. My sister brought him into our room and he started climbing all over us.

We got ready and went for lunch at Royal China. We took the mrt to raffles and walked to the place. Sister was the one who ordered the food, we ate dimsum and some other food I can't remember. The food was good and I forgot to take pictures, but I did take a few selcas teehee.

After lunch we walked to the mrt station again and went over to orchard. We shopped there a little then walked over to takashimaya after that. My sister had the taka card and had a 10% discount on all the items on top of the sale they were having! So as expected my family started shopping.

I got myself a baby-g watch ^^ which I am really happy about, was meaning to get a watch for awhile now and since there was a sale I told my mom if she got it for me it'll be considered my birthday present so I guess this is my birthday present? I got the one that girls generation were endorsing. I think I got taeyons one, I wanted Sica's one or the limited edition one but after deciding I went ahead and got the one taeyon is endorsing!

After shopping we took a break had went for a drink at a random cafe. After having our drinks we went back to taka and shopped a little more! Soon we all felt tired and baby Isaac was getting a little cranky so we went back to novena and had dinner at ramen play! The last trip to Singapore I ate ramen play 3 times. So I guess you can say I like it there. Hehehe.

Day 2
On the second day my sister suggested we go somewhere where we can go only if we had a car. I don't remember the place but I remember the restaurants name. The restaurant was called Jones the Grocer.

Breakfast BLT. It was really yummy!

After once again we went back to takashimaya to shop again! While my family shopped in taka I walked over to wisma atria and did a little shopping in Etude house and The face shop. I went to holika holika but they didn't have any discount and their aqua petit jelly bb cream I wanted was sold out! ):

After my family finished shopping we went over to the food republic located at the highest floor in Wisma Atria for an early dinner.

Day 3.
So on the third day, it was the day my brother, father and me were going home. We went for breakfast in Velocity and I had bimbimbap ^^

After that we went to Spinelli for coffee. I had a Vanilla latte!


After having our coffees me and brother decided to go to taka again because my brother wanted to get more lacoste shirt with his friend. I went on my own to get my membership from The Face Shop. I'm already a member at Etude House SG >< That's how much I spend there. I got myself some notebooks from Typo and a few more stuff from Etude house even though I just went the day before! Going Singapore really makes me broke.

I met up with my brother again and we went to Robert Timms to get a drink too. After our drink we went back to my sisters house and started our journey back to KL. It was super jam and we reached home really late!

So that was my short trip to Singapore! Haul post next! ^^

Constipated face :{)

Sorry for the lack of updates! I started college on wednesday and went to Singapore on thursday night right after my college and I got home on sunday night at 10pm!

Well moving on, excuse my funny tittle but I have a friend who has a constipated smile and I met up with her last tuesday. We went for lunch together and I was just constantly amused with her in general. We were classmates since 2011 but known each other since 2008 I guess? Oh she has a blog too if you want to check her out YiChing!

One thing about her is she has bad sense of direction so I had to walk to the entrance she was coming from or not she might not be able to find me ._.

Anyways we had lunch at Zen Japanese Restaurant.

We were also talking about plastic surgery. I'm seriously thinking of doing it when I turn 25 or earlier? I know I should love myself and stuff but I think I could improve my looks by doing that. Hmm oh well.

After lunch she went back to college and I continued shopping and bought a couple of mask from etude and another sleeping pack from holika holika! The saleslady said they were going to discontinue it and it was going off for half price! So i got the canola honey sleeping pack! I also collected my B1A4 package from my friend! So it was a happy day ^^

Review: {Holika Holika} Holy Berry Tint

Hehehe I'm in a very good mood now so I decided to do a review. I just can't stop smiling now :D

What I'm reviewing now is Holika Holika's Holy berry in the shade number 1 Strawberry! It has 2 shades, 1 Strawberry, 2 Raspberry and 3 orange. I got the first 1 strawberry! I was swatching it in the shop and decided to go for the first one (:

The product comes in the tube thing and has a normal lip gloss kind of applicator. Forgot to take a picture of the applicator.

01 Strawberry! Can you see the little sticker that indicates the fruit? It's so cute. Pardon the ugly tear i just twisted it off when I got it hehe.

PROS:

-Nice colour

-Good for gradient lips

-Strawberry scent which is quite ok smelling for me might be cons for other people.

-Easily spread 

-Buildable colour

-Long lasting

-Cute!

CONS:

-Drying, unlike what it says. It's better to use a lipbalm before appling this!

Overall rating: 4/5 If it was moisturizing it would get a 5/5! Oh well. 

Repurchase?: Maybe but not this colour. I might be trying out other brands since there is so many other brands out there in the market!

Oh and I was feeling a little vain 





P/s: Anyone can recommend a good moisturizer/emulsion to me? I'm running low!

B1A4 1st win

If you guys didn't know I'm a hardcore B1A4 fan and I'm really happy right now and I'm overflowing with emotions.

THEY FINALLY HAVE THEIR FIRST WIN EVER ON A MUSIC SHOW.

As their fan for over a year it's really really a great feeling. I'll forever be their fan and I really hope for their happiness.

Next Chapter in Life.

So I just finished my 3 day orientation for my college today. I got my schedule today and my first class is on next wednesday.


Day 1
I was really nervous on the first day of orientation. My parents came along with me (I'm not a geeky kid I swear!) They just came to pay the bills for my course and they left after they paid phew. Got a goody back too! Anyways we then moved on to the theather hall on level six. I went in pretty late and since I went alone I just sat in a random seat the student counsel people told me to. The orientation went on and a lecturer came up and was speaking and he told us to say hi to the people sitting around you. So I first said hi to the girl next to me well naturally I would say hi to the girl before I say hi to the guy on the other side right? Anyways yeah I said hi and had a simple conversation with her and her name is Shelly she's a really sweet and friendly girl (: After that I turned to my right to be polite and said hi to the guy next to me. He BARELY turn to look at me and returned my hello and I was like what is your problem -.- well fine I don't need to be nice to you! Ok moving on the guy infront of me turned behind and shook my hand and I was like okayyyy. I didn't have the guts to turn behind to say hi to the cute guy behind me but he did help me pick up my pen when I dropped it hehehe. When the talk was over they gave us an hour lunch break. I was dreading this part because I didn't know anyone at all and I didn't want to be the loser who sits alone. Thank god when I was lining up to get my food I saw my old classmate(Wei Ying)! Rejoice! We got free lunch on the first day so we just had lunch in the cafeteria. After lunch we went up again to the six floor and this time the lecturer randomly picked us into 10 groups and it was a miracle I got into the same group as Wei Ying. We introduced ourself and got to know each other and obviously my interests were kpop and makeup HAHAHA. Later on the lecturer gave us a task and it was to make a product that would change the world we were having a discussion and boy wasn't our leader being a total b*tch in the end we went on with his idea anyway and he did the presentation. He was so stressed about it I had no idea why! It went alright anyway and we went home at like 5pm.

Day 2
On the second day they gave us a t-shirt to wear for our orientation.


It says I'm a Segian.
I met up with Wei Ying in the morning so that we could go up together. We went back to the same room and listen to them tell us about the facilities, library and computer lab etc. It was lunch break again and we had 1 and a half hours to spare. We had lunch with one of the group members we met yesterday and a girl that came from China we were being friendly to her since she was new to our country. She barely spoke any English so I had to brush up my chinese and start using it again. Fyi my chinese is horrible. We got to know her better and tried to assist her any way possible she studies the same course as me too ^^. After lunch we went back to the hall and got back together in groups again. We had a amazing race kind if thing and we had to go floor to floor to play games to complete our paper. I wore converse that day and my feet hurt like crazy. I have really weird feet I can't wear ballet flats and converse like shoes. I get blisters by the end of the day ): After the tiring race we went back to the hall and the lecturer told us what to do tomorrow and that was all. The next day we wouldn't be in the same group again so we said our goodbyes. Funny thing is my group leader shook everyones hand but hugged me. Hmm. Anyway we went our separate ways.

Day 3
I reached in the morning and met up with one of my old group members Elvis. She was near the entrance and so we decided to wait for Wei Ying abit and then it was time to go into our respective courses. By the way I'm taking Diploma in early childhood education (: I went into my classroom to do my registration and I sat next to yet another group mate of mine Wan Xi. She's really tiny and skinny I just feel like protecting her! Ok anyways we had a briefing of our course and registered for our subjects officially. Went down again and briefly met with Wei Ying again, Wan Xi was going back to her house which she shares with her friends and she was taking the bus alone. Wei Ying and I were so worried for her! Wei Ying even gave her her pepper spray! That was it for the day. Oh and when I was walking out of college I saw the guy from the first day who I thought was cute smoking. It was such a turnoff, I can't stand the smell of smoke :/

I kinda want to know where I stand with someone I met recently too. Ah oh well.

Review: {Holika Holika} Honey Sleeping Pack Blueberry

Hello~

I'm back with another review and today it's a sleeping pack! Since my skin is really dry I decided to pamper it a little more so I asked my brother to help me get it for me when he went to korea!

So a sleeping pack is basically something you put on your face before you go to bed at night and when you wake up in the morning you're suppose to wash it off and continue with your skincare routine.

In the end I decided to try the holika holika sleeping pack ^^


So it comes in a thick glass jar.



On the side it has this cute holika holika logo sticker with the witch on it! So cute!



The bottom of the package~ Contains 20% blueberry extract and 20% honey. Oh and the pricetag hehe

This product didn't include a spatula or a spoon so I used my own. This amount is enough to cover my entire face!



When you apply the product without spreading it.



Spreaded! It absorbs quite fast so it doesn't get all over your pillow when you sleep!

What Holika Holika says:

It moisturized my skin so I'm satisfied with that! When I wake up I don't really feel anything on my skin but when I wash may face I can feel a thin film being washed off! The price of this 90ml product is only 8800won which is about RM24! Which is pretty cheap considering the size! Downside it's only that cheap if you live in Korea!

PROS
-Does not cause breakout

-Doesn't feel heavy on

-Not as sticky as I expected

-The honey scent! I really like it but some people might not

-Hydrates my skin

-Cheap! Considering the size!

CONS
-No spatula but you could always use your own!

-Might be too oily for people with oily skin but since I have dry skin it's fine

Overall Rating: 4/5

Repurchase?: Maybe in the different flavours/scent hehehe or other different sleeping pack been wanting to try out tony moly ones!

Review: {Tony Moly} Hanbang Mask Sheet Mask Houttuynia Cordata

Hello all! Today I'll be reviewing sheet masks by Tony Moly~

My brother got this mask for me while he was in korea and it was 20000 won for 30 mask! Which is about RM54 for 30 sheet mask. So it was about RM2 per mask? Quite affordable ^^


So the packaging is pretty plain. Just a deep shade of green, not really cute looking but hey as long as it works right? (Blur picture again T.T)

WHAT TONY MOLY SAYS: 

• Houttuynia Cordata calms breakouts, hydrates and nourishes.
• This Hanbang mask pack effectively makes the Hanbang (Korean traditional herbal) ingredients penetrate into the skin and maintain moisture in the skin for a long time. Use this mask 2-3 times a week to clear out skin troubles. In the summertime, keep the pack in the refrigerator to enjoy a more refreshing effect.

So basically it's good for troubled skin.

The back of this packet is all in hangul so I can't read it but the instructions are pretty simple.

1. Cleanse your face and use a toner.

2. Unfold the mask sheet.

3. Leave mask on for 20-30 minutes.

4. Pat remaining essence onto face and neck.

Ok so I tend to put mask on before I sleep and just sleep with it on. It dries up halfway and fall off my face so by morning there will a white sheet next to my face HAHAHA. 

When I wake up my skin will feel smooth with a hint of stickiness but I'm fine with that because I wash my face after I wake up.

The mask sheet is really weird because if I tried to cover my whole forehead it wouldn't cover my whole nose!


PROS

-Cheap

-Easy to use

-Face feels smooth in the morning

-Refreshing scent


CONS

- A little sticky

-I don't know if it's just me but my face heated up abit when using :o

-Shape of mask

Repurchase? : Maybe not. Alot of other more effective mask out there!

Review: {Etude House} Wonder Pore Freshner

So form my recent trip to Singapore I went over to etude house and picked up this Wonder Pore Freshner. I was deliberating on whether or not I should get the 500ml or 25ml one and decided to try out the 250ml one first.

The bottle itself. It's a regular plastic bottle which is good for me because i tend to drop stuff so I'm terrified of glassed packaging!


"I'm the Wonder Women for Your Pores" hehehe as you can see it's best to dispose after a year of usage because some ingredients might lose their functions after awhile!


What it claims to do, instructions and also the ingredient list!


Cute illustrations they have on the box and the 7 in 1 benefits.

2. If you have troubled skin!
3. When your face feels greasy/oily!
4. When pores are clogged and look larger!

Two of the main ingredients is Anti-Pore-Dex Complex (pasqueflower, dandelion, chrysanthemum, pyeonbaek tree extract), which I believe is used to fight against human Demodex mites that live in our pores and lay eggs there and destroy our skin from the inside!! This mites are what makes your skin itch sometimes! Another ingredient is Astringentlelex (catechu, cinnamon, jiyugaoka, lotus, geranium complex extract) is for minimizing the pores.

I've been using this for about 2 weeks and I really like it! I use it day and night and it doesn't feel harsh at all! It glides on like most toners and my skin absorbs it really well and my face doesn't feel sticky and all and what I love is it didn't give my skin the dry skin tugging feeling! Also it didn't sting my face like some toners do! It doesn't really have an overwhelming scent so thats nice! Another plus is that it's free form paraben, talc, artificial colouring! It's suppose to make pores smaller but it didn't really reduce my pore size ><

PROS
- Not harsh on skin
-Doesn't dry out skin
-Does not cause breakouts!
-Doesn't sting
-Can be used as mist
-Reasonable price bought it at SGD18.90 which is about RM47 but has alot of product!
-Doesn't really have a scent!
-Feels good on my acne/ troubled skin!

CONS
-Doesn't have a pump like the 500ml one!
-Contains alcohol but it doesn't feel harsh.

Overall rating: 5/5

Repurchase? : It does it job well and I'm definitely going to get the 500ml one next! >< but I also want       to try their skin mal:gems!
