PLKN (National Service)

So it's been a week since I've been back from ns. I was there from 4th Jan till 16th March, I did have a little break on CNY other than that I was there.

What did I learn in ns was that well how lazy our younger generation is. HAHAHA no seriously we really very lazy one hor especially the girls! When we have break most girls will take naps one wor.
The thing I hated most there was the heat! Seriously can't take it! It was super hot everyday and the worst part was that we the girls had to wear long sleeved shirts! Sweat like pig everday loh! Second worst thing is the fact that we have to do marching under the hot blazing sun! I'm already tan la so when I go march under the hot sun my face turned black -.- quite pissed lo. Oh well.

The schedule is like this.
Morning wake up at 5.00am, take a cold shower in attempts to wake up. Wear the pt uniform and gather at the padang kawad at 6.20am for non-muslims which is quite ridiculous course we had to wait for the muslims to finish their solat subur and by the time they come it's already 6.35am so we non-muslims will stand there like an idiot for 15 mins. After we gather we have to lapor our troops and then sing Negaraku, Khidmat Negara song, say the rukun negara and the muslims do their doa. After that we'll do light exercises. When we're done we'll gather at the dining area for breakfast.

After breakfast we'll go down and get ready for classes. We have to gather for classes at 8.20am and we don't have much time to prepare for this so we'll just change and rush out again. In class we learn about our country and how we should love it and more crap la. Half my class will be asleep most of the time. We have breaks at 10.30am and we go back to class and we finish classes at 12.30pm. Right after classes we will have lunch. After lunch muslims need to pray again and we non-muslims will go take a nap HAHAHA. I'm serious though we do take naps.

We gather up at 2.45pm and this time we don't really have a fixed schedule. Sometimes there is ceramah and other non-sense or we would have extra classes. At 4.30pm we would have tea, after tea we gather up yet again at 5.30pm for sports and we'll have dinner after that. After dinner we go back to our dorms to bath and rest till 8.50pm. We gather at that time to sit there and listen to orders and we get supper at 9.50pm and we go to the padang kawad again for a last roll call. Lights out at 11pm or later sometimes.

Thats our daily schedule and sometimes we do have special events and on sundays it's visiting day! Oh and we only get back our phones on the weekends. Oh well.

That's all for this post. Pictures another day!
